Now Hiring: Substitute Teachers (15 to 29 hours per week)

Broadcasters’ Child Development Center is creating a pool of dedicated Substitute Teachers to support our infant, toddler and preschool programs. The qualifications for these positions are shown below:

  • Candidates must have a High School Diploma, and must possess or be working towards either a CDA or Associate’s Degree.
  • Some classroom experience is desired, but aspiring Early Childhood teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • The base hourly wage is $14.00 per hour, but may be higher for candidates with significant education and experience.

We are conveniently located in Northwest DC near the Van Ness/UDC Metro station. Positions are part-time with four-hour to eight-hour shifts occurring between 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday –Friday. The positions are available immediately, but there is flexibility on a start date for the right candidate. Resumés will be screened and only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
