Moving Update: Finishing Touches Are Happening; We’re Relocating and Growing!

What a year 2018-19 has been and what a great new year is ahead in our new center! I am so excited to share it with everyone as soon as possible. The visible progress each week is amazing and now it is finally starting to look like a center. Ravion, Crystal, myself and the Board have been actively engaged in preparing for our big move and the new preparations and systems to put into place.

The final big step will be packing up 40 years worth of furniture and materials in an organized way so that we can easily transport, unload and set up in the new space quickly. Once we are set-up, licensing will come out and inspect, tell us what we need to correct or change and then validate and issue our new license …then the new BCDC adventure begins!

We have hired quite a few new staff members…some have already started, some will start in early September and some once we move in. Staffing details have been shared with currently enrolled and newly enrolling families via our most recent newsletter.

Please continue to spread the word about our new location with neighbors and friends. We still have spaces available for infants, toddlers & twos. A few preschool slots too. It has been challenging to enroll when we couldn’t offer an opportunity to see the new space. I also am thankful to all of you who have trusted us and supported us in this process. I think you will be very surprised at the size and pleased in the design.

Of course, with any big change like this there will be growing pains and things that we have to learn to adjust to and other things to figure out as we go. We will do that together and we welcome your input, feedback and support. 🙂
